Spring has sprung and in Lancaster County that means warmer days, later sunsets, and a thin layer of dust on everything as farmers turnover their fields. We are holding our annual Spring Cleaning Week at The make717 Innovation Center.
In accordance with our new storage policy, use this opportunity to stop by sometime during the week to:
- Clean up your cubby
- Remove items from the floor and above the cubby units
- Take home or dispose of any large items
- Complete/update parking permit tags for any thing not stored in your cubby
Help out in the room of your choice (or all 6 areas) and:
- Dust shelving and work benches
- Return abandoned tools to proper tool boxes
- Put abandoned creations and materials on the lost and found shelf
- Email suggestions for organizational improvements to ben@make717.org
The week will culminate on Saturday, April 20th when we:
- Dispose or re-purpose any items not in cubbies or tagged with permits
- Deploy selected organizational improvements
- Vacuum, sweep and wash all the floors
Commit to the week by registering. Show up when you can and let's get our makerspace all cleaned up and ready for a fantastic summer of making!
