Intro to Metal Machining Workshop

In this introductory metal machining workshop, you will learn how to: 

- Use metal cutting lathe

- Use a milling machine

- Use precision measuring devices (micrometer, dial calipers)

- Make threaded parts

All while creating a compressed air powered oscillating cylinder engine.

Because of the nature of this workshop and the equipment necessary, the date and times of the eight weekly 2 hour sessions will be determined between the Instructor and smaller clusters of students.

This workshop is open to anyone 12 years of age or older (minors with parental supervision).
