Purpose

• Part of making a board flat, straight, and square
• Makes wood a consistent thickness

Warnings or Tips

• Try to plane with the grain, otherwise you'll get a lot of tear-out and your cut will be messy

Allowed Materials

• Any kind of solid wood
• No plywood, particle board, OSB, etc. (only solid woods)
• No plastic
• No pressure-treated lumber
• No metal
